My granddaughter is kinda being an a**hole.

I love her to death. Truth be told, she is my favorite grandchild. 

However, we recently got into it. 

She is staying at our place while she attends college. 

Last month, she decided to go vegan. I said, “Ok, no problem.”

I did my research, bought her special ingredients, and even cooked us new meals for dinner.

Last week, I cooked bacon in my trusty old pan. I rinsed it out and then put it in the dishwasher. 

My granddaughter witnessed all this.

She Lost It

She said that was HER pan for vegan food. 

I looked at her like she had two heads. 

I said, “Kiddo, this here is a family pan. It has been around longer than you.”

She didn't let up. She even said the dishwasher was now tainted with animal products.

She wants me and my wife to stop bringing animal products into our home.

My wife is much more agreeable. She wants me to really think about it.

Well, I’ve thought about it, and my thoughts are this:

I told my wife what I will do is get our granddaughter a special sponge.

She can use it to wash her own dishes so she doesn't have to use our “tainted dishwasher.” 

Needless to say, the two women in the house are not my biggest fans right now.
