Buck's Stuffed Bell Peppers

A few weeks ago, we less than 2 inches of snow in Texas and everyone lost their damn minds.

When I went to the grocery store, it looked like the apocalypse had hit.

Every shelf in the produce section was completely empty. Bread aisle? Bare. Water? Gone.

Now look, I get it. A few years back, we had that winter storm that knocked out power for days.

People froze. The grid failed. It was a disaster.

So I understand why folks get a little nervous when the forecast shows any winter weather at all.

That trauma is still fresh. Nobody wants to be caught without food and water when the lights go out.

But it was less than 2 inches, y'all.

Still, I saw people with shopping carts piled so high with bottled water and canned goods, you'd think Russia just launched the nukes.

My wife told me I was being judgmental. She said people are just being cautious.

I agreed with her. I did.

I have to admit. When I heard Ted Cruz flew out to California….

I Got Worried

A few years back he did this. And then things hit the fan.

I thought gabbing an extra loaf or 2 myself 🤣

What do you think? Are people overreacting or just being smart?

Enjoy your Sunday!
