I just learned that the Amish sell drugs.

I was sitting at home last Sunday watching a football game when I got a text from a friend.

He told me that he was at a local farmers' market where he lives.

I said, "Good for you. Why are you telling me this?" 

He sent me the picture below.

The Amish at their local farmer's market were selling marijuana.

I have to admit I'm ignorant of Amish culture. This struck me as odd. I just assume this is something that they wouldn't do.

So I got interested and did some more digging.

I learned that in west-central Indiana, the Amish are known for their meth. 

I don’t think they’re selling it at farmers' markets, though.

I was born and raised in Texas. We just don't see too many Amish around here. 

For some reason, I just assumed that they were very religious people. 

Turns out they're just people.
