Buck's Shrimp and Broccoli Alfredo
This is probably one of the dumbest things I've seen in a long time.
My buddy texted me a picture yesterday with zero context.
Just this picture. No words. No explanation.

It was a sign hanging on the wall of a gym. A motivational poster, apparently. The kind meant to fire you up before a big set.
I stared at it for a good 10 seconds.
Then I typed back: "Who owns this gym?"
He didn't know.
But I'll tell you exactly who owns this gym.
It's some middle aged idiot going through his second adolescence.
Probably got a garage gym of his own with this same poster taped above a rusty bench press.
Definitely has a truck with something stupid on the bumper.
His daughters don't call him anymore. His mother shakes her head at Thanksgiving, except she stopped inviting him to Thanksgiving.
And somewhere out there, an ex-wife is living her absolute best life.
Now look, I am not going to stand here and pretend I was a perfect young man.
I wasn't.
I did some things I'm not proud of. Made some choices that hurt people.
But here's the difference. I grew up. Fast.
At some point, a man has to put down the boy's behavior and pick up some accountability.
You want to be taken seriously, by your kids, your community, the woman you claim to love, then you have to actually show it.
Whoever greenlit this sign never had that moment.
This is not motivation. This is a 45-year-old child with a laminator.
And somewhere, some 22-year-old kid is reading that poster mid-workout, nodding along like he just received wisdom from the mountaintop.
That thought alone made me tired.
What do you think?
Enjoy your Sunday!
