Sometimes you just can't do nice things for people.

My daughter came over with a friend recently.

So I decided to grab some really good steaks and make a nice dinner.

I went shopping, got some good potatoes, some great cuts of steak, some asparagus, and some red wine. I even went and got the best sourdough I could find.

My daughter came over with her friend, we talked a little bit, and then I got to cooking. Then I asked her friend how she wanted her steak done.

 This is Where Things Go Wrong

Her friend said she wanted it fully cooked. I said, "Like well done?" She said, "Yes." I said, "Oh sh*t."

So I went and annihilated a perfectly good piece of steak. I put it on her plate, and she cut into it. 

The she tells me that it wasn't done enough. 

These are one of the few times I was at a loss for words. 

I would have been better off putting beef jerky on her plate. Or maybe some sand. Now that I think about it, I should have just given her boiled chicken. 

Her friend was nice and had a good sense of humor because I sure picked on her all night. 

 I just don't get why anybody would eat steak like this. It should be against the law.
