I hate scams.

Like, I really hate scams.

Seems like every other phone call I get these days is from some jackass trying to scam me.

And these guys find new and creative ways to steal people's hard earned money.

I never understood why somebody would work this hard just to cheat people.

Why don't they put that same effort toward something legal? 

It would make a lot more sense (and money).

Here's a clever one that hit my inbox recently.

I got an email from Microsoft asking for my login credentials.

When I looked at it, I was pretty sure it actually came from Microsoft. 

Everything looked legit.

But then I looked closer and saw this.

It's really hard to spot, but that email address doesn't say "microsoft."

To put a “r” and a “n” together to form the letter “m”.

So it looks like this “rnicrosoft”.

Once again, somebody working their butt off just to rob people blind.

I've seen these scammers really ruin people's lives.

I know somebody who damn near lost their entire life savings to one of these jerks.

That type of person has a special place in hell waiting for them.
