Do you know anybody who's a smart idiot?

I'm talking about someone who's intellectually brilliant but has zero common sense.

That's one of my sons right there.

This kid is one of the brightest boys I know when it comes to academics. But if he had to fend for himself in the wild or on the streets? He'd die in under five minutes.

Recently, he reminded me exactly why he's such a smart idiot.

This Einstein put a packet of butter in his pocket. 

As his day went on, he completely forgot about the butter situation.

So when he left work and reached for his car keys, here's what he found:

I don't even get it.

Honestly, I think he sends me this stuff on purpose just to get a reaction. 

He knows I'm about to lose my sh*t over how dumb this is, and he thinks that's hilarious.

So I kept it simple. 

I wrote back: "Oh no, my pocket butter is always making a mess too. If only there was a better way."

You know anybody who's super smart but doesn't have a lick of common sense?
