My wife and I are seeing a sex therapist.

I'm going to tell you one of the most insightful things I’ve learned so that you don't have to spend all this damn money. 

When it comes to having sex after 60, timing is everything. 

If my wife and I want to have more sex, it's best if we try to do it in the morning as opposed to at night. 

As we get older, our circadian rhythms shift. This means we wake up earlier as well as go to sleep earlier. 

Long story short, we have much more energy in the morning when we do towards night. 

For men, our testosterone levels aren't what they used to be, but they are still significantly higher in the morning. 

I don't think I have to say why having higher testosterone in the morning helps. 

However, what most men don't know is that as the day goes on and the testosterone drops. 

Also, we get stressed and tired. Stress and fatigue play a role in ED. 

Here's what most women don't understand about post-menopause sex. 

You typically have better natural lubrication in the morning after a full night's rest, before dehydration and daily stress set in. 

Many women feel joint stiffness that worsens as the day goes on. 

Morning intimacy works best because the body’s natural anti-inflammatory response is strongest then, before aches build up.

After menopause, satisfaction can take more time and patience. 

In the morning, you have more energy and less pressure. So you can relax without fatigue or time limits.

Here is the bottom line.

This isn’t about giving in to our bodies' limits at this age. It’s about aligning with our body’s natural rhythms. 

Morning intimacy helps you sidestep the stress of the day that often dampens desire and arousal.

Ya’ll I was hesitant to write all this sex stuff, but it's really helped my wife and I.

So I'm passing it along so you don’t have to pay all this damn money to learn this stuff.

I've learned so much more, but I didn't want to write a dissertation.
