This has got to be one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while.

My wife wanted to get a jump on Christmas shopping last weekend, so we headed to the store.

When we walked up to the front door, I saw this:

I looked at my wife and said, "Couldn't they just write the damn hours on the door?"

A young lady standing next to us heard me and started laughing.

Then the young lady told me something that made it even worse.

She works for a local foam repair store.

And their store puts a QR code on the front door for hours and information as well.

Think about that for a second.

Why do most people go to a phone repair store? 

Sure, some folks are shopping for a new phone. 

But most people are there because their phone is broken.

So if their phone is broken, how in the hell are they supposed to scan the QR code?

This person said it's the number one complaint they get at work.

I didn't even know what to say. The stupidity of it left me speechless.

Why do you think these QR code things are becoming so popular? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
