My wife is going to kill me when she finds out I sent this.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I want to tell you one of my favorite stories about my wife.

When my daughter was 3, my wife took her swimming at the local rec center.

My daughter and wife were changing in one of the alcoves and my daughter took great interest in my wife’s body.

My daughter said, “Oh, Mommy!! You have a beard!”

My wife tried to shush her. 

She tried to explain to my daughter about how our bodies are private. 

My daughter only got louder and more enthusiastic. 

My daughter yelled “When will I get a vagina beard? I want one!”

My wife then tells her she will have to wait. 

And when it happens, she may not be as excited about it. 

For some reason, that comment ends up pissing my daughter off. 

My daughter then proceeded to throw one of the biggest fits of her then 3-year-old life. 

She started SCREAMING how it wasnt fair that my wife had a vagina beard and she didn’t! 

“I WANT ONE NOW!! I WANT A VAGINA BEARD NOWWWWW!!!!!

There was no calming my daughter down. 

My wife had to drag my daughter out the rec center. 

The whole time, my daughter was kicking and screaming about the beard.

When my wife came home and told me that story, I laughed so hard it made me sweat. 

This is one of my favorite parenting stories ever. 

But my wife may not be happy that I am telling you this. 

But I am laughing as I type, so it’s worth it. 

This is one of those ask for forgiveness versus permission moments 🤣
