Do you have any family members that are absolute idiots?

I do. It’s one of my grandsons. 

I am not telling you anything I don't tell him to his face. 

He is the Smartest, Dumbest Person I Know 

Here is what I mean. 

The kid is book-smart as all get out. When it comes to math and science, he can run laps around people. 

But when it comes to common sense, the kid couldn't run 2 feet. 

Here is a perfect example: 

The kid was house sitting for me not too long ago. 

On our second day away, I sent him a text to see how the dogs were doing. 

He told me everything was fine. He also apologized for eating almost all my blueberry waffles.

I thought to myself, “Blueberry waffles? What?” 

We left him some food to eat, but I did not recall leaving waffles. 

I turned to my wife and asked her if she had left any blueberry waffles for him. She said, “No, we never buy blueberry waffles. We just get plain.”

Then It Hit Me Like a Ton of Bricks

I texted the boy and said, “Son, we don't have any blueberry waffles.” 

He responded with, “Sure you do. Here they are.” 

Then he texted that picture below. 

I responded with, “Boy, read the box.”

There was silence for a while. 

Then he responded with “Umm..it says these are plain waffles 🤢”

That wasn't blueberries on those waffles. That was mold. 

He then called me, and he was a little freaked out.

I calmed him down and told him if he started getting nauseous or woozy, call 911. 

However, I told him he would likely be fine. 

Then I told him he owed me money. He said, “Why? For eating your moldy waffles?”

I said, “No. You basically ate penicillin. It should clear that Chlamydia right up! Pay me for the service.”

I thought that joke was hilarious. 

My wife and grandson, however, did not. 🤷

You know anybody who is smart yet dumb at the same time?
