Someone pooped on toast and tried to sell it to my grandson.
I make fun of my grandson for spending so much money on DoorDash.
I tell him how dumb it is to pay double the price just to get cold food.
Recently, he shared something with me.
He ordered avocado toast from a deli franchise using DoorDash.
30-40 minutes went by before he got his toast.
When he opened the bag, this is what he saw.
My grandson takes after me. Sometimes he talks before he thinks.
He called the deli and got in touch with the manager. He emailed the manager a picture of the toast.
The manager then used every excuse possible to worm out of the situation.
The manager said they would never serve food like this. How it was DoorDash’s fault for taking too long to deliver, and so on.
My grandson said….
“Look, somebody took a sh*t on toast and sold it to me. I want my money back.”
I about died when he told me this.
Long story short, my grandson had to raise hell with both the deli and DoorDash.
Eventually, he got his refund from the deli, and he got a credit from DoorDash.
Do you use any of these food delivery services?
I haven’t, and I am not sure if I ever will.
